Sandtray Level 2 of Sandtray Academy Certificate/ June 27th- 28th 9:00 to 4:30 NDT (Live and Online in. NFLD).

Basic 2 hours /Symbols 3 HRS/ Dev and Relational Foundations 2 hrs/ Person of the Sand Therapist 1 hour and Hands in the Sand Skill practice 4 hours. This training focusses on using sandtray with adults/ couples/ families and groups. Directive Sandtrays will be introduced.

Learning Outcomes

Review how to witness a sandtray using the Sandtray Worldplay (c) protocol in play therapy with adults.

Adapt this play therapy protocol to use with couples in couple therapy.

Discuss directive approaches to utilize sandtray play therapy with families

Review the use of sandtray play therapy therapy with therapeutic groups at each stage of group development.

Experience using sandtray play therapy as a group check in and check out activity.

This training leads to certification as a Registered Sand Therapist with the World Association of Sand Therapy Professionals.
